We don’t have too many questions asked of us, yet.

As this is a new business venture, there aren’t a lot of points to put in here yet, however once the shop is rolling and underway, then there likely will be more content in which to fill this section with. So the following bits are assumed questions.

Why Barefoot Running?

Having switched 10 years ago, I kind of liked it. I took it gently, and before I knew it, had got hooked on it, and haven’t looked back.

Should I try barefoot running?

Let me be clear. I am not an expert. I am a runner who decided to switch to barefoot running as I thought it seemed cool. I had run barefooted as a kid growing up, but my switch from shod trainers to barefoot as an adult was a personal choice. I did not consult anyone, I made a choice and had a go. I personally like it. I took the change to it slowly and took the distances I ran, slowly. All I could say, is that if it appeals to you, then have a go, but I am not sanctioning a transition to barefoot running. If you are uncertain, consult your GP or physician or medical professional if you have any doubt about whether to change or not.

What shoes do you recommend?

I personally like the vibram five fingers. They can be a pain to put on, but then once on, they embrace the foot, and is as close to running skin to terrain as I am personally prepared to do. There are a variety of styles and types of barefoot running shoes to choose from. I have tried New Balance, Merrell, and now Vibram, we hope to stock all types, as well provide the benefits each show comes with, what you choose thereafter is up to you and your personal preference.
